mountdad (763) - Mount Maunganui, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 19, 2021UPDATED: MAY 19, 2021 500ml bottle. Pours black with a huge tan head.
Aroma is mild with a hint of seafood.
The beer is light to medium bodied with a dark but light malt base, bitterness is medium & there are hints of coffee. Not as much oyster as I was hoping for, perhaps they need a super luxury version as I appreciate that oysters are expensive. The end result is not as distinctive as say the Emerson Clam Stout. Not a bad dry stout but not as good as I had hoped.
