Whatup14 (2663) - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 14, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2019 Bouteille 330ml. Carbonatation faible, corps dense.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2018 30 November 2018. Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to Anke, tderoeck & 77ships! Hazy black with a lasting, thin, dark beige head; little lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, salted peanut, walnut, chocolate powder, mocha, cream, vanilla, blackcurrant, toast. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, lots of cream, vanilla & chocolate powder; balanced by a light roasted bitterness with fondant, mocha & a nutty edge. Dryish, herbal & peppery hoppy finish, lingering coffee roast, vanilla, chocolate, warming cream liqueur alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Bit 'basic' but good!

F: no real, some dark brown bubbles. C: black totally opaque. A: chocolate, cocoa, dark dried fruits, some coconut too, dark malts, bit roasted tones. T: rich dark malts, cocoa, chocolate, bit roasted, coffee touch, dark dried fruits, bit vinous, coconut yet very weak when it is cold and chocolate is too prominent when it is cold but later not so much, full body, low carbonation if any, light oily mouthfeel, not bad at all, enjoyed if not so complex, 33cl bottle from Malting pot in Brussels.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2018 Puur zwart met fijne mokkakleurige schuimkraag. Koffie, (pure) chocolade, chocomousse. Olieachtige textuur, machtige volle smaak en goeie (koffie)bitter. Lijkt wel een in alcohol gedoopte chocotoff. Megalekker !!

33 cl can. Pours pitch black color with a small beige head. Intense dark chocolate and cocoa on the nose, subtle licorice, roasted malts, faint coffee tones. Heavy roasted malty flavor, thick chocolaty palate, cocoa, some wooden notes on the finish, tingling alcohol warmth too. Quite heavy and thick, not too sweet, overall very nice. 4426
