UPDATED: DEC 16, 2018 @OnTap - hazy dark amber-orange beer with a moderate foam left; aroma of apples and cherries, light acetic; full-bodied, some sweetness and a decent sourness; quite dry, very fruity finish of sour fruits with light cheesy tones - more an oud bruin than a saison to me

Capped 750 from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours hazy/translucent copper with a near white head. Aroma of mildly sour fruit and oak. Med body or so. Flavor is tart/sour pale stone fruit with astringent oak. Dry. Tart. Astringent. Woody. Either earthy, a bit musty or both. Darn tasty. Love the long slow woodiness to the finish.

Medium gold with white head. Honey sweetness and a bit of lemony tartness, light to moderate funk, pear is subtle. Refreshing for the style and deftly made.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark caramel orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of funky brett, with earthy notes, and oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy notes, oak and funky brett. Oaky and bretty. Solid stuff.

750ml bottle @ home. Pours a hazy dark copper colour with a thin white head. Nose is a earthy and a wild yeast note. Flavour is oddly sour, white wine, astrigent and bitter. Medium to light bodied, light carbonation, and a low sweetness with a prevalent dryness.

Tasting at Brian's; bottled 02/28/2018
Dull and cloudy light brown colour. I feel like I'm drinking a blend of American Saison and vegetables smoothie (celery, tomatoes); woody astringency in the finish.
Random acts of brewing.
