COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As with all Gueuzes, Hanssens is a mixture of several vintages to produce a lambic which is refreshingly fruity.

This is the result of blending different lambics of different ages. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottles and therefore they are stored for minimum six months in constant temperature kept cellars.

375 ml bottle at Craft Beer Co., Clerkenwell, London, UK. It pours clear amber, with a minimal white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is earth, leaves, lemon, lime, lemon zest. Taste is light sour. Nice sour mouthfeel. Body is light to medium, carbonation is flat. Overall nice!

Absolutely a vinegar. Almost a pure vinegar. Pretty much sour. After a couple of sip it's changing to a sweeter taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

wow. Jeg synes bedre og bedre om denne ølstil. Frisk, fyldig øl, med masser af god smag, tilpas bitter,

375 ml bottle, served in tumbler. Vintage: 2015. Poured clear golden amber with a small half finger off white head. Lively carbonation in glass. Aroma is stunning: citrus, barnyard, goat, blue cheese, green apples, cloves, basement, spruce, wet earth, oak barrel, leather, herbs. Taste: citrus, very sour, granny smith apples, tart, bitter, oak barrel, sour cherries, blue cheese, dusty basement, herbs, spruce, ginger, vinegar, vinous tannine. Bonkers sour with velvety sweetness. Very refreshing and absolutely delicious. Medium body with a supersour bittersweet finish. Now THIS is what you call a Gueuze, a real piece of art and a wonderful experience.

From a 375 ml bottle corked and caged bottle in 2012. Pours a clear copper with a thin off white head. Aroma of barnyard and citrus. Flavors of grapfruit and tart grapes. Mellowed and smooth with bottle age.
