COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of grains and malts give this beer its complex biscuity body. The use of Cascade and Chinook late in the boil followed by a generous measure of dry hopping imparts a lingering and resinous bitterness.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A bright amber pour with a thin translucent head; malty aroma; fruity malt taste with some bramble; a light bitterness; and a biscuity finish. An old-fashioned bitter - and nowt wrong with that.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and soft palate, not much carbonation. Soft malts, dry and sweetish. Dry pithy floral citrus, still manages to be insipid. Dry finish. Bleg!

mR_fr0g (17921) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2018
Cask at the brewery. A clear pale golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is subdued, light hay, grass. Palate is crisp, grainy, drying finish, decent cask condition.. Flavour is composed of light biscuity grains, assertive grassy hop, leafy hop. Not bad. Punchy.
