COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vallons is a farmhouse ale that pours a reddish bronze and gives a prominent malty sweetness, often with a complex, light to moderate toasty character. A Suggestion of orange blossom on the nose, medium malt flavour with a toasty, toffee-esque sweetness.

TBone (20204) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 19, 2018
Tap at Beer Hunters. Clear amber colour, small white head. Nose is more or less crystal malts. Light-bodied. Sweet, perfumic, not much Saison. Clean but very boring. Farmhouse ale? If you had told abbey dubbel, even that would have been closer.

Scopey (18258) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - SEP 10, 2018
Keg at Casc. It pours slightly hazy deep amber with a tiny white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, orange peel, bready, onions and sweaty kumquat. The taste is dry, lightly bitter, sweet, oily, floral, grassy, orange peel, tangerine, kumquat and orange marmalade with a slick finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Oily. A bit odd.

Leighton (24885) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 25, 2018
Keg at Mother Kelly's - Bethnal Green, London. Pours clear copper-gold with a creamy, white head. On the sweet side, with ample bready malts, nips of caramel, Belgian yeast, candi sugar, ripe orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with soft warmth, a bit of butterscotch, minimal bitterness, lightly toasted bready malts, mild yeast notes, toffee. Enjoyable, if simplistic.
