UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Remind me the 'aventinus' little bit but in the watery direction. The beer is very refreshing and has great carboration. The flavors give you banana caramel, coca cola. The finish has some kind warm bitterness.
Overall one of the best dunkel beers out there for sure. jamestulloch (5849) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 4, 2020

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2019 The yeasty wheat banana scent is coupled to some dark malts. Poured murky brown with foaming off white lace top. Taste is medium sweet to lightly bitter with a little souring in the finish. Palate is medium bodied, clammy feel, soft to average carbonation and a yeasty finish. Possibly better bottled. kaserov (2320) - Oviedo, SPAIN - NOV 19, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 Hazy brown, brownish amber when exposed to light. Dirty white head, four fingers, good retention, beautiful lacing. Lots of carbonation visually. Watery texture with medium fizz. Aroma is malty -caramel, hints of nuts, bread, toasted malts, toasted breadcrust-, with hints of clove and wheat. Taste is the same. Well balanced, soft and clean without being insipid. Soft sweetness. Hint of acidity. Clean finish with notes of clove and bread. Alcohol is obviously well integrated. Refreshing and quaffable.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2019 500ml bottle brewed in Germany at 5.3%. Dark tanny brown in colour. Slight grassy hops and toasty aroma. Over 50% head, lasting a fair duration. Low carbonation. Mild, nondescript citrus hops into mild banana wheatbeer yeastiness into mild toasty, even caramelesque maltiness. A splendid segue, combining a weissbier with a dunkel - well, duh. A little bit like a milk stout, perhaps. Well worth trying! 6bahudy9 (341) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 1, 2019
