DmitryD (47) - Saint Petersburg, RUSSIA - MAR 10, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2019 Тёмная версия вайцена. Помимо банана и гвоздики, ощущается легкие нотки карамели и жжённого солода.

Mpuntmuts (452) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2019 Murky brown with a medium off white head. Caramel, dark malts, burnt sugar, cola for aroma. Slightly acidic, halfway medium sweet and mildly bitter. Halfway medium bodied with quite the carbonation. Not bad, not great. Could be me, but I can't get the cola out of my system.

kwik-lime (2706) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2019

GoddamnNoise (391) - Pontevedra, SPAIN - FEB 23, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2019 50 cl bottle @ home, served in a teku glass, due date: 2019/11 Aroma: quite intense aromas of banana, banana chewing gum, spices, grains, cereals, wheat, toasted malts, fruits, caramel, bread crust. Appearance: cloudy brown / toffee color with beige and extremely creamy foam made of tiny to small bubbles, very high head thickness, medium Brussels' lacing and very high retention. Very high haziness. Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness, low sourness. Flavors of cereals, wheat, spices, fruits, caramel, toasted bread crust, light hints of black dried fruits like prunes, raisins, dates. Balance is slightly toward the sweet side. Palate: medium body, silky to slightly creamy texture, medium carbonation, very long slightly sweet finish with low to medium sweetness, low bitterness and the same aforementioned flavors . Alcohol is barely noticeable because of a light throat and mouth warming. No astringency. Overall: very good apperance, aromas and flavors of cereals, grains, wheat, banana, banana gum, light hints of dark dried fruits (raisins, prunes, dates, figs), spices, toasted bread crust. Excellent mouthfeel, good flavors and aromas and good drinkability. Good Dunkel.

fredthecat (390) - CANADA - FEB 16, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2019 What is a weizen dunkel? How undefined between the dozens and beyond of examples. This one sticks closely to the paulaner hefeweizen but with a small degree of increased light-roast. aroma is non-distinct from a normal weisse. colour is med. brown. taste is more clearly heavily brown-bready, after taste of toast and some medium-high caramel. body is actually smoother than my memory of paulaner normal weisse. hmm, swell. i just wonder what the actual recipe is, 1% caraffe or some other mix? good beer.
