tfredvik (2347) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 18, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2018 Cloudy deep red body with a small, light pink head. Strong Christmassy aroma of cloves, raspberries, cinnamon, orange zest, and sugar. Quite strong flavour of cloves, cinnamon, and tart berries. Light acidic taste, a very light sweetness, and no discernable bitterness. Light body, dry texture, moderate carbonation. An unusual sour with a distinct Christmas feel. [33 cl bottle, enjoyed 20 months before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Storo, Oslo]

Turboninja (1267) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 15, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2018 [email protected], Tampere, Finland. Medium, bit sour nuances of slightly overaged red and some green berries. Christmas spices like cinnamon. A hint of malts softens the sourness. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with sour berries and spices. Medium/light body with medium, sharp carbonation. Overall, quite nice, organic, juicy christmas implementation. 8 4 7 3 15

mice (1310) - Espoo, FINLAND - DEC 14, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2018 Hazy, red brown beer with small and quickly vanishing head. Aroma is full of Christmas. It has cinnamon, gingerbread and berries. Taste has also some cinnamon, but much more sourness with berries. Medium body, slightly carbonation. Weird but interesting.

BenL8 (458) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 13, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2018 The leevike is basically Christmas in a sour beer package. Loads of cinnamon and a melange of other spices we associate with Christmas intermingle with cranberry and other berry aromas and flavours. Lovely winter sour.

Scopey (18830) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - DEC 12, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2018 Bottle thanks to Louie. It pours deep reddish with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, cranberry, raspberry, warming spice, clove rock. And cola cubes. The taste is crisp, tart, lactic, cranberry, raspberry, festive spice, mulled wine abd clove granny smith apple, birscher museli and balsamic vinegar with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Odd combo.

jinroh (3571) - ESTONIA - DEC 9, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2018 330ml bottle. Pours darker red, somewhat whitish. Looking like some hazy cranberry juice. Thick spicy nose, cinnamon and cloves, fruity cranberry tartness all around. Tastes tart, super spicy but not sweet at all. Interesting take on a Christmas ale (that's what this is). Salty mouthfeel, tart and full of satisfying umami. Tasty, not something what I would drink year-round but yes, this is not bad.

Gurthnar (6845) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 1, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2018 Tap at Unorthodox Bar. Very interesting spice mix, evocative of cola flavour to me. All in all this piece is all about the spice though. Do not expect to meet any traditional beer character here. That said, I liked it and enjoyed it. Good one.

Humlehode (1182) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 1, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2018 Bottle. Pours cloudy amber. Gingerbread, berries, lemon, cinnamon, cardamom. Lightly tart.
