The aroma is caramel malt, liqouirce, chocolate, charcoal, light dry coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich oily roasty liqouirce hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Flavor is more of the same, sweet toffee, lots of raisin and fig, coffee on the finish. Very complex and layered flavor, really delightful. You get a nice transition between the sweetness of the mid palate and the coffee notes on the end. Gorgeous, really really gorgeous.

Carbonation low to moderate. Aroma subtly of chocolate, roasted coffee and syrup/treacle. Taste of sweet brown sugars, roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits and vanilla with alcohol on the back palate; low bitterness. Medium body but a little thin for the style. Smooth and creamy with a lingering subtly sweet vanilla finish that also has alcohol notes. Nice enough.
