cage.79 (455) - Worcestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2018 500ml can. Pours a glowing orange/brown with a head that lasts a while then laces around the glass. Aroma of sweet malts and at first a little burnt plastic but thankfully that fades away. Taste is stewed plums, bitter orange, slightly acidic, there's a little spice on the finish. Bitter boozy finish. OK but a bit underwhelming, I had high hopes for this.

500ml can at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. A two-finger thick pearl white head to a hazy golden-orange body. Spotty lacing on the glassware. Mid-sweet hop fruity aromas, hints of lemon and peach. Rather succulent fruity flavours, impact of orange, lemony hops, and peaches offset by subdued malty sweetness. Bittersweet finish. Okay paring with my cheeseburger. Likable. (Tromsø 10.11.2018).

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the Beer Merchants stall at IMBC 2018. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Lots of crackery malts in this one, some piney hop accents, orange peel, a hint of earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More crackery malts in the finish, ripening citrus fruits, some melon, maybe marmalade, pale grains, rindy bitterness, light oily pine. Alright stuff.
