Nose is small with caramel notes and some light herbal tones. Taste is sweet and becoming with some hops on the top. Appearance is OK but due to the haze a little so and so. Red-blond is colour. Palate with caramel remaining and overall a nice beer in the sun. Definitely reminding of a nice white wine from the city.

Bottle bought in a plant nursery of all places. Yay local products. Nose is grassy biscuits chunked with flowers. Sip adds little. Balanced but leaning to the bitter side. Seems to be more of an amber ale than a Belgian ale. Again, what do I know? Fruitcake finish.

Mousse blanche, couleur cuivrée, arôme malt, levures belges, gout sucré, caramel, c’est typiquement une bière ambrée belge, belle réussite artisanale. 33 Cl

bottle, Hyperboissons Dijon-Chênove. Hazy goldn, with a white head. Malty with a fruity touch and some aromatic hops, adding a citrusy-resiny touch.

75cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 09/2013
Aroma has soapy citrus, toffee and grainy malt typical to alcoholfeee beers. Flavour has toffee, some caramel, metal grassy hops and an english feeling. Weird stuff, not very belgian but nothing else either. Perhaps a little Belgian feeling here anyway.

nimbleprop (10227) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 10, 2010
500ml bottle at the DC local tasting. Hazy, translucent amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is all amber malts, a little grass. Flavor is sweet, crystal malts, a little yeast, bread. Medium bodied, sessionable. There was some debate over whether this is an amber ale or a biere de garde. I think it’s clearly an amber ale.

33cl bottle, best by 11/09. Cloudy amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, cantaloupe. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, honey, light straw/earthy, dough. Medium body, low carbonation.

Yeah, this shouldn’t be listed as an Amber Ale. Either BdG or Belgian Ale would fit. Very light, a touch of sweetness, light caramel, bready malt, touch of dark fruit, very little hops. Medium body is very soft with moderate, gentle carbonation. Pretty solid stuff.

Clear orange yellow color with big white head. Musty aroma with some spice. Flavors of citrus, orange, with a hint of cinnamon and clove. Sweet and spicy goes great with my thanksgiving day dinner.
