UPDATED: DEC 21, 2018 Bottle, 'Torfmonster Reserve', many thanks anstei! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is peat, raspberries, yeasty. Taste is chocolate, peat, raspberries, quite refreshing and drinkable. Oily, a touch watery mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite tasty! Bov (14954) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 7, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2018 @Bacon Beer Day - hazy dark brown beer with a moderate foam left; solid peated and earthy aroma, notes of molasses; full-bodied, sweet and sour; aftertaste of honey, peated whisky and wood; some residual sweetness anstei (3618) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - SEP 29, 2018
Bottle from their webshop. Pours pitch black. Aroma is pure peat, railroad tracks, ash. Body is medium, sour and quite ashy peaty tarty. Low carbonation. Dryish palate, and actually quite fruity. Good.
