UPDATED: FEB 13, 2021 Strong oaky bourbon, prune, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Very dark brown with small brown head. Mildly sweet bourbon, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay and alcohol flavor. UPDATED: AUG 14, 2020 Cask at GBBF, Earl’s Court on 03/08/2010. Actually tried the 2009 and 2010 vintages at the festival. 2009 was just that bit more complex, but both were amazing. UPDATED: JUL 19, 2019 2014 Vintage Bottle at home, 19th July 19. Pours black and viscous. Aroma is liquorice, barrel, liquor, wood. Taste is liquor, barrel, liquorice, caramel, not sweet, slight bitter. Fantastic Imperial Stout.

0.375l bottle vintage 2015; pours deep brown opaque with dissipating light brown head. Roasted, toffee, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit esters, vanillin, intense bourbon, hint of tobacco.
Full body, smooth texture, moderate carbonation.
