Maravillosa mansquito (8822) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 11, 2018

Pours a very hazy, pineapple-banana yellow, with mid-sized, lasting cap of head. Aroma has a huge bouquet of tropical and citrus fruits, some grass, some floral notes. Flavor is citrusy and grassy, with a lot of pine/spruce hop bite. For such a high ABV, this beer is noticeably WITHOUT a strong boozy flavor or alcohol burn. It's very smooth and lightly sweet and soft and quite tasty. More experiments like this one, please! Muggus69 (3092) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - OCT 31, 2018
Draught @ Carwyn Cellars, Melbourne.
Opaque dark straw body, creamy head.
Intense nose - lots of resiny, ripe mango & citrus, and booze.
Big & creamy but scarily easy to drink - weight seems just right to fill out the palate.
Very intense boozy fruits, ripe & sticky resin, very long finish, slight warmth but delicious and balanced.
Beautiful stuff. ClarkVV (8541) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 27, 2018
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2018 Draught at Row 34, 10/27/18.
Soupy, drab peach. White head sticks to edges.
Heavily yeasty nose with big fruit esters and dough and biscuit. Somewhat floral and spicy notes are there, but it's surprisingly low on aromatics. Though it is icy-cold on draught. With warming, tangerine, honey and light, dank, fresh hop notes give general yellow and citrus fruit character. Is this 10.2%?? Wow, smells like 7 or at most 8.
What the nose lacks in strength, the flavor makes up for in sheer elegance and balance. Stupidly drinkable for its size with no resin or booze at all. Tons of juicy watermelon, nectarine, mango and papaya with light bitterness and great attenuation. Yet it's still soft and malty with engaging carbonation. Kind of what I would imagine an amped of version of Very Green to be. Aroma continues to come around with continued warming and it's not an issue with low aroma strength; rather the beer is just so mild for its size, but in the best way possible. Lingering spiciness, light honey-like malt, watermelon-and-bubble-gum ester. Lovely. Maybe the best TIPA I've had.
