UPDATED: JAN 15, 2019 @Thun Craft Beer Festival - hazy dark brown beer with a dark beige foam, aroma of blood oranges, molasses, gently lactic; quite sweet and with a moderate carbonation, late sourness, medium-bodied, decently dry finish with more blood oranges, dates, juniper and honey - very nice

From tap at Craft Beer Festival Thun 2018. Dark mahogany color with a creamy tan colored head. The aroma is medium malty with roasted malt, chocolate, yogurt, toffee, blood orange and resinous notes. Medium body with a medium sourness and a light bitterness. The flavor starts with some citric notes - lemon and blood orange - followed by roasted malt, dark chocolate, some coffee, burnt wood. Finishes with a light roasty bitterness, some coffee. Good but the acidity is a a tad to present, thus not entirely balanced. Aroma: 8 Appearance: 4 Taste: 7 Palate: 4 Overall: 14
