UPDATED: JUN 17, 2018 A short can from 8th St Liquor Store in New Westminster (yes, they sell short can singles from time to time). A golden liquid with moderate white head and a sweet nose. Haven't imbibed a malt liquor in possibly decades til just now, and I'm not too terribly impressed. Cloyingly sweet is about the best I can say. 2.1

Had at the Black Mourning Light Festival in Edmonton, in 2016, when we played there. Poured a blonde colour with a white cap, average retention and creamy lacing. Typical Molson hops for aromas. Malty taste with hints of apples and a short aftertaste. The mouthfeel is a little crisp. I don't mind this brew, as the apples notes add to the typical Molson maltiness.

Drank from can, aroma of grains, taste of grainy slightly malty big label beer. It’s ok if you are desperate.

Can @ AirBNB Arts Colony. Clear golden straw pour with a soapy white head. The nose is kind of harsh for a relatively low ABV beer. Some green apple and a touch of lemon floor cleaner. Ooof. A lot of corn sugar and syrup. Flavor is kind of sugary and syrupy. White grape juice. A lot of cooked corn. Green apple peels and some solvent. Nope.

High Test. A beer of my youth, can’t get it here in Alberta now. It was the beer of the 80’s, it was powerful then. Had a bad habit of sticking around the back of my throat like syrup.

Can (Old Notes)-Pours a medium golden with a small head. Aroma of corn and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew was not bad.

Lagerboy (2383) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 18, 2013
355 ml can from the singles section at the Heffley Creek Store. Clear bright yellow, fading foamy white head. Malty cereal grain aroma. Sweet-ish malty pale lager taste and not much else. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Inoffensive and easy to drink. Remember it being called High Test. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
