Bügelverschlußflasche (Danke, Julian!): Deep golden, cloudy, quickly collapsing white head; moderate grainy-sourish nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, accompanied by a light acidity; light bodied; a light tartness can be found in the bitter-grainy fruity-sourish finish. MoritzF (10602) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2009
(bottle, thanks to Allen !) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and full-sized foamy head. Yeasty and moderately sweet malty aroma with discreet citrus-fruity and grainy notes, accompanied by slightly herbal and floral hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty, slightly grainy and fruity taste; rather dry, mildly sweet and bitter finish with a little fizz. Still a decent and refreshing Zwickel. 19.XII.09

Bottle, thanks Allen. Light tart grainy note in the aroma. Amber, off-white lace. Good fruity start, light twist of lime, apples, slightly catty despite the low hop level. Medium to light body. Mellow finish.

Quack-Duck (10349) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 14, 2009
bottle, herzlichen Dank Allen! Cloudy orange-brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of an English bitter. Medium-bodied, malty background, intensive hoppyness well integrated into the malt body. Hints of lemon and caramel. This one has an Altbier feel, and a touch of English Bitter in it.

nearbeer (6386) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 3, 2009
50 cl, bb Jul 09. Foggy, orange-amber with a lasting coaster of creamy bubbles on top. Aromas of earthy honeycomb, cereal, and lemon. Tastes of lightly tart citrus, grain and dry grass, with hints of berries. Light-medium body is almost creamy smooth, has some tongue-tingle from hops, and finishes dryish. Some spotty suds of lace. Thanks again to Allen!
