UPDATED: FEB 20, 2019 Can from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Pours clear amber with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, off-white head; some lacing. Aroma of pink grapefruit peel, red bell pepper, fried onion, toast, apple cake, pear, ripe mango, biscuit, pine resin. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple & pear on a biscuity malty base, leading to a medium hoppy bitter middle with bell pepper, fried onion & pink grapefruit, a bit toasty, piney & peppery. Dry, piney & resinous hoppy finish, lingering biscuit & caramel even, mango & grapefruit. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy to soft carbonation. Rich & assertive (American) IPA, biscuity maltiness gives it more balance & drinkability. tovesa (1476) - Pirkkala, FINLAND - FEB 19, 2019
