[email protected]’s. Huge fluffy, mostly lasting, lightly tanned head. Hazed , dark amber colored body. Dry, ashy malt aroma with sour undertones. Smoky malt flavor. Dry fruity with a prominent earthy hop bitterness. Berry notes. Medium to light body. Bitter finish.

DSG (17944) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 4, 2009
Bottle. Thanks anders37! Cloudy amber-brown with a slowly-diminishing off-white head. Aroma of piney hops, some flowers, caramel and some biscuits. Sweet malty flavor at first with some biscuits/cookies, light nuttiness and mild sourish tones which later turn to rather strong hoppy bitterness, a bit resinous, with some pine. Medium-bodied. Pretty good.

finol (3734) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2009
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours dark copper. Smells metalic and sour. Tastes sour and some malts. Öland, shape up!

Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 17, 2009
500 ml bottle. Dark amber and slightly hazy. Very high carbonation level. Coarse off-white head that clings to the glass. Malty aroma with ashy aroma. Smoked. Minty flavours and a crisp bitterness. Refreshing beer, but the smoke is a little distracting. That said this is much more drinkable than some of their other beers.

hirigalzkar (3594) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 15, 2009
Bottle. Look: Amber. Nice golden head. Smell: Sticky unbalanced smell of yoghurt and chemicals. Taste: Sweet and sour. BItter aftertaste. Once again it’s unbalanced and not just natural. Overall: I would have assumed that there is something wrong with this beer if the bottle didn’t say Ölands Gårdsbryggeri.
