kluczbork (1798) - Wroclaw, POLAND - OCT 11, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2020 Bottle. Aroma- nice dark chocolate, with well balanced, subtle peated notes. Black, unclear, with a low, beige head and some lacing. Taste- intensive dark chocolate dominates. In the background, come very nice, delicate peated notes and the play very well with the rest. It's not sweet, but also not bitter, it just feels very elegant. Maybe the aftertaste could be more intensive, but it's just a 23 Blg. Medium-low bodied, with a minimal carbonation. I like this kind of beers.

Zlotta (7407) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2020 0.33l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', bottled in July 2018, cellared for almost one-and-a-half years. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and a bit smoky aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice toasted nuts and a touch of peat. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty, slightly smoky and a little fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, some peat and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly smoky-medicinal finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Not as peaty as expected, therefore still rather sweet. Apart from that a well-crafted, classic Imperial Stout.

jybi (1779) - Nouméa, NEW CALEDONIA - MAY 10, 2020
