Ausgezeichneter Geruch nach dunklem Röstmalz, Wald- oder Tannenhonig und Karamell. Rezenter Antrunk. Rezenter, vollmundiger und kräftiger Körper mit Noten nach Röstmalz, Karamell, dunkler Schokolade, braunem Zucker und Hefe, die in eine sehr angenehme Herbe und Säure eingebaut sind und progressiv in eine cremige Herbe münden. Dann langer, warmer, leicht sauer und kräftiger Nachhall mit Röstmalz- und Karamellnoten und einer angenehm präsenten Herbe. Rundum gelungenes und komplexes Amberbier, das seine 12% gefährlich gut und meisterhaft versteckt sowie sicherlich stets eine gute Wahl ist!

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2023 11.2 ounce bottle - found hiding in the back of the cooler at one of my local shops - it was the only bottle, so who knows how long it was hiding back there - hazy dark orange - lively carbonation - nose of orange, raisin, golden figs, pepper, dusty yeast, banana - creamy texture despite the high carbonation - sweet, but not cloying, with a fair amount of peppery phenols to balance, along with mild bitterness - golden raisin, plum, candied oranges - earthy, dusty character - finish is quite spicy and warming, but not boozy - really glad I found this.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2023 Tap at Delirium Cafe, Bryssel. Colour is Slightly Cloudy light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, ripe fruits, Belgian yeast, malts, pretty sweet malty body.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2022 Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2022 Kolor bursztynowy, klarowny Piana biała, wysoka, drobno pęcherzykowa, bardzo sztywna, zwarta. Charakteryzuje ją długi czas redukcji, tworzy kilka nieregularnych kręgów. Aromat bardzo przyjemnie słodki, słodowy, są nuty owocowe, chlebowe i lekkie alkoholowe - szlachetne. W smaku lekka słodowa słodycz została skontrowana ziołową, niezbyt intensywną goryczką. Alkohol delikatnie rozgrzewa przełyk. Wysycenie wysokie, trochę przeszkadza. Ciało średnie. Tekstura gładka. Posmak średnio długi, słodowy.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 The aroma is spicy-yeast, caramel, fruity notes. Taste s weet, caramel candy and light fruitiness, spicy notes. The finish is bittersweet (notes of alcohol) Good… alcohol. and alcohol, grain.,taste is hot and balanced. One dimensional but worth trying.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2021 0.33 bottle from 250 years gift pack with glass, from Maxi. Contains sugar. Pours amber/brownish color with medium white head. Aroma of light banana, syrup. Strong kick, notably high alcohol, but still pretty smooth. Complex taste, full bodied, higher bitterness, light sweetness, bit dry, with malt thickness and banana freshness. Medium carbonation and clean texture. Palate bitter, malty. Kinda too strong but still fine, sample of a Belgian beer you should try
