UPDATED: MAY 27, 2019 Aroma of sweet bread, toffee, dried pear and apricot and golden raisins. Banana and phenols are somewhat subdued for style. Taste is sweet and malty. Alcohol is very smooth for 8%. Slight wheat tartness. Texture and carbonation are pleasantly smooth. Distinctive German weiss character, but has more to it than that.

33cl foil-wrapped bottle. This style is just one of my favorites. Thsi oen pours a dark brown, cloudy, nice banana meets spice meets raisiny sweet malt, boozy but in a charming way, I love this style.

Bottle. Pours clear dark copper, off-white head. Aroma of fruits, slight wheat malt, and slight esters in the kind of banana and clove. Taste is sweet, with low bitterness. Flavors of fruits, smooth wheat, banana, slight clove. Medium to full body, slick texture, average carbonation. A really solid weizen doppelbock.

MikeBeermaster (1518) - POLAND - NOV 23, 2018
Pleasant aroma of bread, some clove with red fruity background coated with tough wheaty base. Cloudy amber color in the glass, medium thick head. Taste is semi sweet – but pretty balanced with lovely notes of breadcrust fleshed out with fried banana, some clove, ripe fruits with added some toffee pudding on them. Solid piece of classic stuff.

Pours cloudy dark amber with a two finger, light tan head. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel and light bread. Taste is plum and caramel, moving to banana and nuttiness. Finish carries the banana notes. A very tasty weizenbock.
