DerWeg (2144) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 23, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2020 Bottle from LCBO, very flavourful showing nice underlying fruit tones of melon, pear and some lemon plus peppery and bubblegum spice along with the more hop forward resting-viney bitterness - it's a densely-flavoured brew of the type I particularly enjoyed when really discovering craft beer, and I like it right now. Looks beautiful in the Duvel Tulip.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2020 hazier than normal duvel, large white head. immediate melon, ripe fruit aroma, spicy flowers? cardamom, cloves, pleasant aroma of perfume. taste is quite bitter, harshness of hops becomes clear in taste. just had a gouden carolus belgian IPA that was so much better and actually cheaper the other day. this one is not doing well. i really like normal duvel, the complexity of the yeast is really lost by heavy handed hops. more AA is not the answer. wouldnt buy again.

dandeman (1533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 18, 2020

visionthing (6946) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 18, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2020 33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with notes of Belgian yeast and mild herbal notes. Rather dry and fruity with medium to high carbonation and a balanced bitterness. Enjoyable.

brandy cools (55) - antwerp, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2020 It's softer on the taste than the original. Not as good as some of the other of Duvel's IPA-versions. It has an exotic fruit aroma and sense of exotic fruit in the taste. I never was a big fan of Duvel but i appreciate their experiments with the extra hops. and this is a nice try.

Marko (9984) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 14, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2020 Bottle, probably BaseCamp. Misty golden body, lasting white head. Big aroma, white grapes, light alcohol, white wine aroma really. Sweetish, dry, well carbonated taste, white wine all over the taste, light bitterness. Tasty stuff, but probably past its prime. Warming, clean, nice!

zacgillbanks (7210) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2020 330ml Bottle from Carrefour, Calais, France. Hazy straw coloured with a massive white head of foam. It has a slight tart citrus, herbal and zesty tropical fruit flavour with floral and spicy fruit and honey on the smooth warming finish. Like an Imperial Saison, Excellent!

edward78 (351) - West Wickham, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2020 Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours an almost clear light golden colour with a large light fluffy white head. Aromas of floral hops and light notes of tropical and citrus fruits. Taste has more floral notes and more hints of tropical and citrus fruits. it has a gentle hoppy bitterness and light peppery spice on the finish and it is extremely well balanced. Medium body, fair carbonation and a very slightly oily mouthfeel. Great beer.
