moatemalt (268) - Plymouth, Devon, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2021 Last beer review for a while. Going on a break! Cask, lockdown delivery thanks to Siddy. Got around 20 bottles of this straight from the pub. Just what the doctor ordered. Simple, clean, clear, sessionable, tasty. Decent mild. Toffee, caramel and slight funk note. What I get from this is amazing clarity and glugability. Pretty boring and uninspiring but totally nailed on for a cold winters evening when silence is something to be treasured and appreciated.

dragnet101 (4468) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2020 Bottle BBE in 12 months. Copper pour with decent head. A mild aroma of malt and spice but it doesn't exactly pack a punch. The malt flavour comes through with hints of stone fruit and a nice earthy and spicy note. Quite sweet with a mild bitterness running through. Moderate carbonation and body. Its decent, I enjoyed it.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2020 Thin off white head stayed on a clear tea coloured still body. Big malty aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the front with a sharp back. Malt, berries, spices, tea & tangy fruit tastes. Classic 1980's!
