Rating #1000, thanks to everyone I have met throughout the last 2 years, especially Stefan and Moritz for introducing me into the wonderful world of craft beer after not really drinking beer for 21 years.

0.75l bottle. Ruby red body with a pink head Aroma and taste of vinegar, lemon juice and zest, a bit mold, wood and sour cherry. I can't really recall a kriek I had where the fruits add to the complexity not mask it, but this is definitely one. Awesome. Lore (3023) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 10, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2018 Hazy pinkish-ruby colour, minimal pinkish head; aroma and taste of sour cherry juice, wine cellar, lemon juice, tannines and some acetic acid notes; great kriek lambic; thank you very much for sharing cristobal! simontomlinson (720) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2018
Thick, fluffy dark pink head stayed impeccably on an unclear, very finely carbonated, beetroot coloured body. The head stayed all the & really kept it's fluffiness.
Dry, earthy aroma with cherry, & root vegetable aromas.
Medium bodied, sharp, crisp & prickly over the tongue leaving a cloying aft.
Bitter, fruity, sour tastes of citrus, lemon, cherry, & under ripe plum.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2018 75cl bottle. Unclear dark'ish red with no lasting head. Cherry, slight funk, moderate to very sour. Ok but not so complex. Zlotta (4239) - Hagen, GERMANY - JAN 29, 2018
0.375 l bottle from 'Dranken Geers', 2014 vintage, bottled in December 2015, cellared for one-and-a-half years. Clear, deep ruby with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, purple white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately sourish, intensely fruity, slightly funky and a bit dusty aroma of lots of sour cherries, oak, bitter almond and some leather. Minimally sweet, quite sour, rather fruity and slightly funky taste of sour cherries, lemon juice, oak and some bitter almond, followed by a long, very tart, woody-dry finish. Thin to medium body, fairly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. The acidity is a bit too high, not that well-balanced and also not overly quaffable, other than that a decent Kriek. Wouldn't try it again though. jc1762 (1693) - JAPAN - JAN 27, 2018
Thanks Okawa for sharing the 2014 bottle! Poured into a taster showing hazy deep cherry red with a finger of cherry tanned foam.
The nose shows pronounced notes of soft brett and bing cherries.
The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Strong flavours of cherry throughout with cherry pie on the mid palate. Balanced tartness. TimE (6349) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 27, 2018
Deep purple color. Nice cherry pits, cherry pie tart nose with oak. Dry, tons of cherry pits, good carbonation. Super drinkable. A touch of oxidization. Really nice cmacklin (1414) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 26, 2018
375ml corked green bottle. (As Oude Kriek Cuvee Rene) Pours a beautiful, unclear, dark ruby with some tiny yeast particles floating around and a small, fizzy, pink head that fully dissipates. Tart, acidic, fruity aroma of cherry, wheat malt and funk. Sweet fruity flavour of cherry skins, red wine, wheat malt, vinegar, funk and oak with a clean, crisp, dry, sour, acidic finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Nice complexity. Very refreshing.
