jercraigs (13283) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2020 2020-05-07. Very dark brown body, nice foamy brown head fades. 4+ Aroma of toasty lightly nutty dark malt. 7+ Flavour is similar, impression is on the dry side, toasty minerally dark malt, hints of nutty malt and hints at cocoa. 7+ Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation suits it. I'm in the mood for it, very nice take on the style. 7/4/7-8/3/16+ Can from Godspeed, Toronto.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2020 355ml can, delivered yesterday from the brewery - time to start CoviDrinking ... Near black pour, small bubbly tan head. Smells like a mild cascadian dark with herbal dry overtones, light alcohol. Taste - man, that's a solid and balanced dry herbal dunkel ... another great Godspeed lager that avoids being cloying. Decent body, mild carbonation, medium roasty/dry finish, not a huge aftertaste. Another winner.

Tranquillity (3347) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2020
UPDATED: APR 10, 2020 Canned. Opaque black body, thick brown head. The aroma has licorice, wet leafs and the taste is earthy and slightly smoky.

TimE (8460) - Tokyo, JAPAN - FEB 26, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2020 Lovely chestnut color. Dry nose with noble hops, nice earthiness with milk chocolate and a touch of dry dog food. Modestly bitterness. Dry, great malt character. Dry bitter finish with lingering chocolate notes

DerWeg (2081) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2020 Can and Tap at Godspeed Brew Pub & Store. Pours a nice dark dense brown color, roasty and kind of chocolate and demerara aromas and tastes, nicely dry hint of hop finish. Bready roasted barley. The palate is spot on, full and yet never treacly. Ashy bit of smoke is a house trademark.

mrjez (1135) - Osaka, JAPAN - JUL 17, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2019 Tap at Maruho SkyO. Near black pour with great light tan foam and lacing. Rich roasty chocolate aroma, flavour offers a deep rich note on the palate with subtle notes of roasted nut or coffee. Moderate to high carbonation with a creamy base, crisp dry finish with lasting roast bitterness. Really lovely.

Johnsense (2130) - - JUL 8, 2019

KansaiBeerLvrs (7031) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 4, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2019 Deep inky brown with a tan head and fairly full body. Roasty cacao goodness.

Freaky_tiki (1771) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2019 Can from brewery. Date on can is smudged. Pours blacker than the soul of a conservative with a nice slash of burnt sugar foam on top. Nicely brewed. Dark roast coffee, cigar ash, dry, complex charred malt. I’m digging how upfront the subtle charred, ashy flavours are. Really good.
