UPDATED: OCT 18, 2020 330 ml bottle served in a 1/2 glass, cellar cool. Pitch black body with a tan collar. Fruitcake and farmyard aroma. Chocolate, coffee, demerara sugar. Velvety mouthfeel, up there with the best porters I've had. Stood it's ground with th Fullers London Porter that followed.

Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well presented khaki covering.
Nose is toffee, cocoa powder, light coffee, dark malts.
Taste comprises brown sugar dusting, chocolate brownie, dried fruits, toffee, raisins.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2020 Bottle from Geers. Pours hazy black with a lasting, thin, beige head. Aroma of toast, brown bread, tobacco, mocha, cream, walnut. Taste has sweetish bread, walnut & toast, slightly roasted, some dried fruits with a touch of cream underneath. Earthy hoppy, toasty finish, hint of tobacco.
