COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright and bubbly! Linth Maisbier is a light, unfiltered summer ale made with locally grown corn from the Linth region. You’ll find it slightly malty and very fruity with little bitterness due to its unique ingredients and balanced composition. Wheat and corn in the grist contribute to a cloudiness similar to a “Wit”. Dry crisp finish, low bitterness. A perfect beer to enjoy on a summer day.

It is kind of a summery ale and has a nice foamy head, but the color is a dirty hazy amber. Very little aroma. Flavor is a bit tangy. Not a fan of the corn.

rand (3460) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 28, 2012
Bottle 49 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Pale and haty blonde with short fleeting foam. Grassy aromas, malted sweetness, lemon. The taste is grassy and lemony, smell of corn and its sweetness, present acidity and sourness. A bit disgusting. Herbaceouis bitter, lemon and citrus. Interesting work on a style which is not it.

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2011
Hopfiger, schnell abflachender Antrunk. Interessant! 8/9/9/8/7/9

paler golden beer, small white head. smells of florasl hops, with an interesting hint of tropical fruits and apple. aftertaste is bittersweet wich a lychee hint, floral, herbal

Embrouille (2879) - SWITZERLAND - APR 29, 2009
Sampled at the Solothurner Biertage 2009. A very good beer- reminiscent of belgian wit. Fruity with a little arabic gum.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 29, 2009
bottled; from Solothurner Biertage 2009 - cloudy dark golden-blond colour with a solid, firm and persistent white foam; beautiful lace on the sides of the glass; solid corny aroma, dusty; shows some spicy notes (I can’t put a name on it) which make a quite fresh impression; moderate malt backbone, quite effervescent and lively palate; some tartness partially coming from the grain used but also from a light acidic touch; the finish is slightly dry and fizzy with more corny notes - original and very interesting; refreshing and very well-made: another great work from Stephen
