COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a tremendously delicious, textural, and fizzy county ale, bright gold colour, citric and sour, reminiscent of a good champagne or lambic but in a class all its own.
Fantôme – Golden ale, 8% alc. by volume, with a wonderfully musty and characterful aroma. There are many drinkers out there who believe this is the “Nectar of the Gods.” Certainly no other brewer makes beer like this, in Belgium or anywhere. How many beers of 8% plus offer such fresh fruitiness? A solid Belgian saison beer at its base, with an unusual overlay of fruitiness.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2023 Bomber bottle. Semi hazy golden body with a thick pillowy white head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, floral, lavender, spices. Taste is slightly tart but also sweet with a dry finish. Simple but tasty. Fantome know their craft and does it well.

Pale malt characters with enough sweetness to match the acidity and farmhouse funk. Finishes with a refreshing bitterness that draws you back for more.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2022 Piwo w kolorze jasnego bursztynu, klarowne mocno wysycone stąd solidna pianą która jest w miarę trwała i trochę zdobi szkło. Pod koniec butelki robi się mętne - osad w butelce. Aromat owocowy, głównie słodkie cytrusy i winogrona, kwiatowy, trochę stajenny (zapach siana) i przyprawowy. W smaku lekko słodkie z zauważalnym podkładem kwaskowatosci, goryczka ledwo zauważalna, głównie nuty fenolowe owocowe i kwiatowe trochę łąki, siana. Konkretne. Super saison

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2022 White grapes. Some brut. Musty aroma. Light vinegar. Spices. Lemony. Big bitter bite. Interesting and funky. Refreshing and enjoyable.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2022 Bottle from Systembolaget Sweden. Semi lasting white head. Opaque solid golden color. Perfect aroma of grapes and tropical fruits that resembles champagne. Smooth phenols and pale malty taste that gives a very enyoable saison. Balanced bitterness and an excellent examplecof saison.

Aromi e gusti rovinati, si sente lo speziato e l’agrumato, buona intensità. Leggera acidità.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 Yeast and grain aroma. Lingering on top is an interesting black currant note. When it comes to taste, it’s very calm (though fruity), with an elegant aftertaste.
