COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

misc (739) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUL 26, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2019 Aroma is medium malty and light roasty. It smells like caramel, honey, chocolate and red fruits. Clear, dark red color with a medium sized, frothy, off-white head. Flavor is medium to heavy sweet and roasty. It tastes like caramel, chocolate, honey, nuts and red berries. Body is medium, mouthfeel is thin. Finish is short and roasty sweet. I do not really like it, quite industrial.

17Beer (861) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 1, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2019 330ml bottle. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head. Good lacing. Scents of malt slightly vegetal. Tastes are sweet malt with a light sour finish that is quite short. Mild carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Okay but the style usually has more to it.

XKGhost (35) - Bonate Sopra, ITALY - JUN 23, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2019 From notes 1/28/13: Pours a clear ruby brown producing a frothy, variously bubbled, moderately lasting, light tan head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is malt forward with sweet and toasted malts, dark crusty bread, plums and dried dark fruits with hoppy hints of grass and herbs. Taste is sweet, dark fruit heavy to raisin and prune, dark toasted bread, vinous hints, faint anise, alcohol spice and warmth with a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium-full bodied, slightly slick/oily, lively with spice and warmth.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2019 Bière 33 cl bue dans un restaurant à Venise. Nez sucré sur le caramel. Couleur ambrée foncée presque plus brune qu'ambrée. En bouche, du caramel en quantité. Pas subtile mais pas désagréable.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2019 From a bottle in a glass at an Italian restaurant. Pours medium brown. Nutty medium-bodied flavor. Touches of roastiness and hazelnut. Clean slightly watery finish. Higher ABV than it tastes. Decently well crafted but a little lacking on the flavor front.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2019 Gradevole per intensità e persistenza, tende a stufarmi sulla lunga distanza, comunque ottimo rapporto q/p per un prodotto da grande distribuzione.
