UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 Botle. Black pour into a 10oz taster glass. Small khaki head that vanishes into a fine ring around the glass. Aroma of chocolates, cocoa and hazelnuts. Taste of coffee, mocha and hazelnuts. Palate is thick and a bit syrupy, carbonation is soft. Finishes long with lingering hazelnuts. Overall: Fans of hazelnut infused will dig this one.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2020 Bottle. A- Earthy, hazelnuts, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Roasty, cocoa, earthy, hazelnuts. P- Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- You better damn well like hazelnuts that will make your mouth as dry as the Sahara to enjoy this. A very good beer but wow, the hazelnut was strong. The coffee is there but it's all about the nuts. Nice mouthfeel on this one.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 On tap at Stanley's NE. Pours black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a nice hazelnut and bitter coffee combination with roast and sweet dark grains supporting. Flavor has a nice coffee hazelnut note with sweet dark grains and a hint of chocolate and roast backing.

tfontana (5045) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 10, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2020 Bottle pour as part of Pints for Prostates, from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is opaque, inky black with no sparkle, nice viscosity, thin ring of light brown head and no lacing. Aroma is strong hazelnut, roasted malt and coffee, and chocolate, mild cinnamon all in perfect balance. Taste follows aroma with strong, rich hazelnut, cinnamon, chocolate, but not sure I get coffee though. Mouthfeel is medium side of medium-to-full bodied with thick, smooth texture, very mild alcohol, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a little disappointing that the coffee isn't stronger but a lot of other flavors.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2020 11.2 oz bottle, Shared by tfontana, thanks man! Aroma shows huge hazelnut and rich chocolate. I could smell this all day. The flavor is almost exclusively hazelnut with some rich decadent chocolate. I am left searching for coffee. Still good just expecting the coffee which I cannot find.
