UPDATED: JAN 26, 2022 19th January 2022, taster in The Church, San Diego. Came in a lovely glass. One of three Barrel Aged beers they had on from Lost Abbey, I had them all. Slight haze to the light golden pour, white topping. Peachy, woody and nice!

PhillyCraft (12131) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 23, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 23, 2022 FLN. Bottle with huge thanks to Michael. This was the biggest Lost Abbey 🐳 back in the day. Clear golden with white head. Notes are bright peach, green grapes, oak, lemon, vino, barn, and lactic San Marcos funk. Moderate to assertive acidity, and finishes super dry. Some truly beautiful stone fruit in this bottle.Lost Abbey was one of the first brewers that got me into craft beer back in 2006. Another one off the bucket list, Cheers Tomme 🍻

ctipping (3981) - Florida, USA - DEC 4, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2021 750 mL bottle. 2020 bottle. Clear golden with a few bubbles. Smells of oak, basement funk, light peach. Tastes of stone fruit sourness, lots of oak, earthy and winey notes in the finish. Simple, delicious, and a blast from the past when it comes to fruited sours.

Cristobal37 (2268) - Tustin, California, USA - SEP 17, 2021
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2021 2020. Pours very clear pale yellow with some white head. Wood barrel and citrusy aroma. Fruity, tangy, earthy, peach taste. All encompassing sticky tangy sour finish. Very refreshing, light and not a massive oof kind of sour. Refined and the wood comes through.

bytemesis (13530) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 29, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 29, 2021 Pourin buse, baby. Batch 2. Pours pale yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is full of peach, lemon, oak, mineral notes, peach skin. Flavor is light tart, light funk, mineral. Light body. Peach fresh and ever-present, but not in your face to the detriment of other notes. Well done.

Clownoisseur (531) - Buchanan, Michigan, USA - JUL 1, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2021 Batch 2 bottle, 2020. Finally getting a chance to try this longtime want! Pours a vibrant yellow/gold with a bit haze and a pillow white head that hangs on. Good carbonation. Taste is a bit of a let down, in my opinion. Thin body, subdued Lost Abbey funk, and tame peach pit presence culminate into a far less adventurous beer than I had hoped for, given the amount of chatter surrounding the first batch. It's a fine beer. Balanced, for sure. But, I find this to be a bit 'dull' on my palate, even compared to some of LA other offerings. (Cable Car and Red Poppy being my favorites) Subtle oak, peach skin, citrus zest, and a touch of hay round out the back end. I find myself wishing the peaches were more prominent, and there was more depth in the sour/funky department. Glad to have crossed this one off my list!

BOLTZ7555 (3032) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 30, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2021 Thanks to Jack Wagon for encouraging Dak to bring this one over...it's been too long, gents! Great beer shared with great friends...nothing compares! Fruit forward with a refreshing and jowl-tightening sourness. Can imagine both the fuzz and the pit when sipping this one. Never thought I'd get the opportunity...so happy I did!

Cybercat (10882) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 22, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2021 Pours clear pale yellow with a fair ivory head. Aroma provides tart and sweet peach plus other stonefruit and a little citrus. Flavor delivers tart and slightly sweet peach, apricot, citrus, a bit of malt. Texture offers decent body and lively fizz. Catch this bus.
