COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unlike typical porters, our Baltic Porter is brewed in the traditional style as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a luxuriously round, but robust, black beer with a mild bitterness. A special blend of roasted malts provides this porter with flavors and aromas of chocolate and coffee, and you’ll enjoy it’s subtle hints of cherry-smoked malt.

Tap @Mondial de la biere 2017, Montreal. Small beige head, very dark brown colour. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee. Sweet taste, full body, long finish, flat. A little bit too sweet.

Pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma has smoky/peaty malts, some coffee and dark fruits, a touch of sweet molasses/burnt sugar. Flavor follows suit...dark fruits are accentuated...some bitter dark chocolate and earthy/woody notes. Mouthfeel is light/medium and slightly syrupy with a dry, roasty finish.

trapped (3096) - New York, TURKEY - MAY 29, 2017
Bottle, thanks to Yourilevesque. 2016 product. Opaque dark brown with smallish foamy tan head, woodsy mocha aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish mocha taste with wood flavor, and bit of sourness, smooth thickish body, long mocha finish. Very very smooth and well covered alcohol content. Great brew!

vami (455) - Poznan, POLAND - MAY 29, 2017
Pours black with quickly disappearing head. Aroma is roasted malts, smoked malts, nuts, a tiny bit of alcohol, coffee and chocolate. More like an imperial stout than a baltic porter. Body is huge, a lot of dark notes in the taste, molasses, amaretto. Very nice, although non-traditional, baltic porter.

Carolo (18) - Vejle, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2017
On tap, of a completely black colour and dark head. Coffee, chocolate and nuts aroma. Tastes even better than it smells, alcohol goes almost unnoticed. Brilliant

W aromacie intensywne suszone owoce, cimny chleb ze śliwką, czekolada - niesamowita intensywność i złożoność. W smaku podobnie, czarny chleb z owocami, nutka umami, czekolada, pełne, gładkie, nie do pomylenia z niczym innym. Polskie bałtyki ssą. Ten jest wybitny.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Whoah. Jak połączenie dobrego Bałtyka i Pannepot.
