COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Vintage 2005"
Our PGR has aged for 24 months on oak barrels and has been bottled for the first time on the 27th of December 2007. The main difference with the Pannepot Reserva is that PGR matured the last ten months on Calvados oak barrels, adding extra complexity to the beer. We dedicate this beer as a tribute to Jeppe & Michael of Ølbutikken in Denmark. Those gentlemen were the first to discover our beers on an International basis back in 2004 and are responsable somehow for our beers being all over the globe since then. As a token of gratitude towards Jeppe & Michael, the first shipment of PGR was scheduled to Ølbutikken so they could be the first to launch its commercialisation.

PotjeBier (4514) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 17, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2019 Bottle @ home, 2011 vintage. Very dark colour. Beige head with some retention. Aroma's: sweetish, dried fruits, caramel/molasses, none of it overly strong. Retronasal it's light sweet, herbs, light wood. Flavour is light moderate sweet with some wood and light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Finishes with some wood, dark malt and fruit (raisins) and mild bitterness. Nice enough, but past its prime (but I guess that's my own fault for keeping it in the cellar too long).

330ml bottle, 2015 vintage, BBD 30/11/2012. Massive thanks to cgarvieuk for the bottle, cheers Craig! Pours hazy very dark brown with a very thin beige head. Aroma of sweet dark fruits, light spicy dried fruits, brown sugar. Taste follows suit, sweet, fruity, plum, cherry, raisin, brown sugar, caramel, spices, just the slight alcohol taste, a little warming, it does not seem as high as 10% though. Full bodied, soft carbonation. This is a bloody good beer, complex and well balanced. Never had a fresh bottle to compare to but it would seem this has aged incredibly well.

Thick, dark and vegetably, with an interesting mix of spices. Thin head which disappears quickly. Very rich taste. Great.
