UPDATED: MAR 4, 2022 W zapachu czekolada, trochę kawy, może nuta, dosłownie nuta ciemnych owoców. Nie wiem ile to piwo czekało, ale żadnego chamskiego utlenienia. W smaku czekolada, kakao. Głęboki smak, balans, gładkość. Jak na zwykły porteru 9% bez żadnych ulepszaczy, beczek itp, to klasa piwo.

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2021 (Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with black rye bread, coffee, dark chocolate, prunes, liquorice and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of sweet black coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread, liquorice, prunes, soy sauce, hints of vanilla and a generous roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Tasty, solid and well made Baltic porter. Very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2020 Piwo ma ciemnobrunatną barwę, nalewa się z beżową i szybko znikającą pianą. Aromat jest intensywny i złożony. Dużo tutaj pumpernikla, melasy, kawy zbożowej, spieczonych tostów. W tle suszone owoce kandyzowane. W smaku piwo jest pełne i wyraźnie słodkie. Płynny pumpernikiel przejmuje władanie. Dopiero po chwili dochodzą nuty melasy, kawy zbożowej, niuanse spalonej skórki chleba, susz owocowy. Goryczka jest lekko zarysowana, ma raczej palony charakter, a sam finisz jest lekko cierpki i wytrawny. Alkohol jest niewyczuwalny.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2018 Bottle. Almost clear, very dark brown body with a beige head. Very pleasant aroma of sweetish, dark malt, dry fruit and chocolate. Flavor is sweet and pleasant, dark malt, mild roast, smooth, coffee, chocolate, dry fruit and balancing bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Classic.

(bottle) deepest brown colour with a creamy dark-beige head. aroma of fudge and raisin bread, slightly leathery, with a light hint of cherry stones, gently roasted malts and chocolate bran flakes. flavour is mostly roasted malts and dark wholegrain bread, slightly starchy, with a light fudgy sweetness and a touch of hazelnut purée in the lingering toasted-bitter finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with soft but lively carbonation. great balance.

Bottled 355ml. -from Weyermann Fan Shop Bamberg. Black coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, dried fruits, chocolate and marzipan in the nose. Sweet malty, light roasted, dried fruits, alcohol, notes of caramel and and touch of wood with slightly burnt malt and alcohol in the finish.

KØLF 191018. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, cellar notes, raisin, bread, cocoa, coffee, chocolate. Very nice beer.
