UPDATED: DEC 14, 2023 Bottle from the brewery webshop. Deep dark-brown to black pour with a dense creme coloured head, retaining well. Aroma of burnt malts, some coffee. Taste is mild sweet and mild dark-bitter. Creamy feel (because of the oat?), smooth carbo, with more bite/body than expected with 5,2%. An easy, basic porter, but nice.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2023 bottiglia 33 cl, bottled on 22.02.18, bel cappello di schiuma cappuccino media grana persistente, colore marrone intenso nero, al naso caffè della moka malto tostato cioccolato al latte vaniglia una punta di liquirizia, in bocca caffè cioccolato al latte caramello malto tostato liquirizia, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, dolce con amaro moderato. Gustosa equilibrata bevibilissima. Mi è piaciuta proprio. Ottima. 21.10.23

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2023 Pachnie bardzo ładnie, słodko, porterowo, czekoladowo. W smaku w sumie nie urywa, jest trochę wodniste, gorzkawe, palone, ale jakoś brakuje głębi. Trochę zawiedzionko

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2023 Molasses and dark chocolate. Dry finish. Red fruit and apple skin bitterness. Chinook hops give it a slight citrus tang. Fairly light bodied. Decent.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2023 0.33l bottle. Black colour with very long lasting small beige head. Aroma: Rye, ground coffee and overall earthy tones. Taste: Has a lightly smokey malty start with rye like tarty and earthy tones with a medium bitter mouthfeel. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Long lasting bitter and dry finish.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2023 Vor einigen Jahren habe ich dieses Bier schon einmal probiert, aber jetzt komme ich dazu es richtig zu verkosten. Nach mehreren Erfolgen der österreichischen Kommunisten bei Wahlen ein recht passendes Bier für den Abend. Es ist sehr schön rauchmalzig und schafft die Waage zwischen bitter und süß ohne zu sehr in eine Richtung zu schlagen. Ein wirklich schönes harmonisches und süffiges Porter.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2023 330ml bottle Colour is an almost jet black colour with a two finger beige head. Aroma is of coffee, caramel, whiskey, roasted malt and chocolate notes. Taste is of coffee, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, burnt malt and slightly nutty. Very soft mouthfeel and light carbonation. Overall a very nice porter. Good flavours and definitely very drinkable and refreshing. Very nice.
