COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Artevelde Grand Cru features a dark red-brown colour, a firm, creamy, and cream-coloured head. The smell of roasted malt, caramel and the sweet fruitiness of the alcohol give this beer the perfect aroma. Caramel, sweet fruitiness and a pleasant bitterness are the predominant flavours. Its aftertaste reveals a pinch of toffee and date. Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, yeast. Triple fermented.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2019 Donkere grand cru die werkelijk nergens naar smaakt. Heel slaap en licht, beetje zurig,. Met cola schuim. Echt slecht bier.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Deep reddish brown colour, billowing white foam. Faintly fruity yeasty smell. Sweet, lightly malty, fruity. Modest hop, hint of spice. Low perceived bitterness. Pleasant but quite light and thin for the ABV.

DocuDrinks (392) - LATVIA - AUG 21, 2018
Smell - weak, cant really feel anything in it. Foam - some carbonation, not creamy, medium thick, bit watery, not soft, no prominent tastes. Taste - some carbonation, little bitterness in aftertaste, quite pleasant, no alcohol flavor at all, feels a lot lighter than advertised 7.3% Easy drinking. In general nothing wrong with it, but cant see anything special as well. Fine brew.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty, toffee caramel, treacle. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, sweet malt, light liqouirce, light boozy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Strong beer with triple fermentation. Sweet And tasty. Not too much complex. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Demens (664) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 11, 2017
0,33l bottle. Very dark ruby/brown colour with medium lasting beige head. Aroma: Basement aromas, yeasty/funky tones with candy sugar notes. Taste: Has a malty, sourish grainey and brandy styled start with a very light bitter mouthfeel. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting sweet/sour finish. Not bad but it's on the funky/yeasty side without a significant malty and hoppy tone and it has a bit too high carbonation.

vinivini (4441) - Gomel, BELARUS - OCT 3, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy chestnut brown with a tall and loud beige head. Good retention. Nose: dark malts, spicy yeast, fresh and dried fruit. Light to medium body. The taste keeps the features mentioned above. Rather thin for that ABV. Mediocre within Belgian standards.
