jamestulloch (5371) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 20, 2018
Bottle from Bottle Baron. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of cereal, hay and raw potato. Flavour of apricot, herbs and a hint of white pepper. Thin to medium body with smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. Quite a full body for a Pilsener. Overall it’s fine but lacking the desired crispness of flavour.

JorgeLee (2663) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2018
Bottle, Beers of Europe. Poured nice bright golden colour, white foam. Very typical Bavarian take on pils, chewy malt and a nice spicy hop flavour without ever really becoming dry, herbal or bitter. Drank very nicely though.

Towey1989 (5007) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2018
Keg at Beerdock Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of bready malts, subtle butter and slight grassy, herbal hops. Taste of bready malts, a hint of banana, subtle butter and slight grassy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A sweetish, bready malt bitterness in the finish. On the sweeter side for a pilsener. Bready with a touch of german hops. Low carbonation.

BlackHaddock (9712) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2018
330ml bottle: BBD 7th May 18 (from Beers of Europe). Poured into an old 'Veltins' badged 0.2 litre tulip glass twice. Pale golden body, clean, clear and bright: fast fading white head on both pours. Grassy, herbal aroma with a slight maltiness. The taste is hop first, dry and refreshing, the malts them come out to play before the hops take over again in the finish. Just had a two hour walk with the dog, so needed something like this to quench my thirst, and it did.

Piepenhenrich (1867) - Steinbach, GERMANY - FEB 10, 2018
Pours golden with decent white head. Well balanced grainy and fruity flavours with a pleasant bitterness. Breaches the gap between a Helles and a common Pils. Very drinkable.
