UPDATED: FEB 24, 2020 Poured from a 12 oz can dated December 12, 2019.
Aroma is classic hefe - loads of banana and faint bubblegum esters with light wheat notes. Light clove notes as well.
Pours a hazy, pale, dusty, golden straw color with a very large, thick, pillow white head that recedes fairly quickly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and no legs.
Flavor is moderately sweet with light wheat notes. No hop flavors and low bitterness. Quite a bit of banana esters with faint bubblegum. Light clove notes. Lingering bubblegum and sweetness in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a tasty beer. I haven't had a hefeweizen in a very long time but this is nice and refreshing with a good balance of esters and phenolics. jjgmd (2913) - Parkland, Florida, USA - DEC 19, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2019 At Bangers, with A and Z , pours a gold hue with a white head. Nose is deep cloves and esters. Taste is strong cloves and banana with yeasty notes. Not a hefe fan, but this is a winner but not converter ! CraftBeerNick (4946) - Wokingham, Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2019

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2019 This beer tastes amazing going down. It is thick and rich just like a hefeweizen should be. Not too sweet and not sour whatsoever. One of my favorites. Whatup14 (3019) - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 18, 2019

UPDATED: APR 23, 2019 Enjoyed this Hefeweizen! Draft at local gastropub. Nice white head, German wheat smell, light wheat malt, banana cloviness evident. When ISO that German Wheat in the middle of Texas, this is pretty tasty!
