UPDATED: AUG 12, 2017 Bought under the label Guinness Antwerp. Thick, strong and creamy very good take on a Belgian strong ale

Not much on the nose, but touches of blackcurrant liquorices. Pours opaque black, with a tan head (same colour as the original Guinness). Tastes of gorgeous roast malt, hints of liquorice, black treacle, slightly cough syrup, great mouthfeel and without a hint of the 8% abv. Slight fizziness. Great stuff.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Small off white head, minimal lacing. Dark black body. Coffee nose with blackcurrant overtones. Flavour is roasted nuts, dark berries, coffee, syrup. No real signs of the abv. Light carbonation, mouthfeel is rich and a bit syrupy. Decent stout.

Color negro con capa de espuma marrón de tres dedos de grosor (cremosa y de buena retención). Carbonatación suave pero presente. Textura oleosa y muy ligeramente chispeante. Aroma a malta rancia, caramelo, tabaco, metal. En boca es bastante dulce, con mucha malta caramelizada y reminiscencias de cacao y frutos secos. Final de ligero amargor. Postgusto metálico en los primeros tragos. Normalita.

solidfunk (9012) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 31, 2017
Solid foreign stout. Nearly as good as the Caribbean version but not quite. Dry but with some zibg like English humour. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Roast and nut. Thick and creamy pour. Bitter finish. Hint of caramel. Bottle.

GuideDogSaint (1582) - Xiamen, CHINA - JUL 22, 2017

Basic Guinness, but slightly more hoppy , resin, roasty, toast, black, tan foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, full body, creamy, flat, long finish,

Beamer (79) - Malden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2017
Mooie romige stout, lekker zoet en licht bitter, bittere smaak blijft niet hangen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I like Guinness, but this is a whole new experience! From a 330ml bottle. Pours with a beautiful beige head. A soft aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. A lovely sweet taste with a tiny bit of a bitter finish. A wonderful stout.
