Copper colored body with foamy white head leaving nice lacing. A lot of caramel malt character here. Really malt forward, some hay and cereal notes as well. Maybe a tiny bit of baking spices I’m getting as well. Not a big hop or carb presence. Pretty heavy for the style.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color, medium white head. Mild malt and grain aroma. Medium body with a sweet clove flavor and a medium finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Rebelle Quebecoises 6.5% Clear orange-amber-brown. Hints of fruit and crackery biscuit. The taste is tame but alright is looking from a red ale on the fruitier end of the spectrum.

341ml Flasche.

Clear copper pour with golden highlights and lots of effervescence topped by a caramel shade head which has good retention. The nose is very malty and deep with hints of spices and even some yeasts in the back. The taste also gives lots of roasted malts paired with good hops and cloves. This ambered double is full-bodied, smooth and quite enjoyable. Good try.

Correcte !

Pours a darker yellow almost orange colour. Aroma is fruity, sweet with an alcoholic background. Some hints of cinnamon. Taste is sweet with a fruity body and finish. Aftertaste is malty and slightly bitter. Generally quite alcoholic flavour with not the most appealing aftertaste.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - pours a cloudy amber-orange beer under a persistent beige foam; estery with notes of yeast, oranges and spices; full-bodied, sweet and light sticky, highly carbonated, light acidity and bitterness; long estery fruity finish with notes of marzipan; quite dry

Bottle 341ml. Pours hazy clear brown with low-medium beige head. Some lacing. Aroma is of sugar, malt, cheap toffee, caramel. Taste is of malt, cheap toffee, sugar, slight acidity, caramel, bitterness, fruits, weird spices. Palate: Medium body. Medium-high carbonaiton. Slightly sticky. Overall: Sweet, malty. Good to know it’s "double matière" #huh?. Not for me, but nothing awfull here.
