Cask-Conditioned gravity dispense @ GBBF ’17. Pours very dark, small tan head. Aroma presents sweet, complex, overripe dark fruits, caramel, bourbon. Taste is much of the same, full-bodied with vibrant dark sweet flavours, bourbon, chocolate, toffee with a robust alcohol strength. A real sipper. Cask at GBBF. It pours hazy mahogany brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, toffee, fudge, bourbon, cocoa, millionaires shortbread, honey and toasty action. The taste is slick, bitter, chewy, wood, bourbon, chewy, toffee, bourbon, touch of alcohol, wood and soft alcohol warmth with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2010, Parsons Green, London in July 2010 - Deep brown with reddish undertones. Vanilla-oak barrel aroma with hints of dark stone fruits. Very Fruity; raisins, prunes and black currant. Very Malty; sweet burnt caramel, chocolate malt, oak and vanilla notes. Hoppy; spicy and grassy hops. Yeasty. Sweet syrupy fruity spicy beer with rich flavours. Very drinkable. Decent. (2010-07)

750 ml bottle shared by eyedrinkale at Kuhnhenn in 08 and again from a growler picked up in Kentucky in 2010 from notes. Pours a hazy caramel brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, toffee, some toasted malt, stronger bourbon, a splash of vanilla and wood, a little funk, interesting. GCB; Draught. Very Whiskey heavy. Too much oak and whiskey for me. But if the malts are you thing this might hit the spot.
