This is pretty much beer-as-a-meal. Lovely bready fullness, fields and grain, just right on the damn mark as one would expect from Heater Allen. Lovely and I'd love to try on draft.
500 mL bottle from the Heater Allen Brewery, McMinville, Oregon poured to tulip glass
Sight: very good, light amber, small foam, very hazy
Smell: very good Malty, not a lot aroma, nothing bad either
Taste: very good ,Low bitterness, sweet compared to other beers, very good
Mouthfeel: very good light mouthfeel, even with the higher alcohol, very good follow through, sweet finish, long bitter aftertaste
Overall: very good beer, ok to repeat but not look for

Bobtoberfest was the least expensive beer I enjoyed in OR ($1.50 for 4 ounces), and it was also once of the most enjoyable beers of the trip. Well-made German-style beer from the states just makes me so damn happy. I have to conclude that Bobtoberfest is one of the best American-made Oktberfests. It's so smooth, cohesive, and drinkable that it's difficult to appreciate its elements. This is a beer that wants to be gulped down quickly. Grainy and sweet malt aromas. Flavors of toffee, apricot, honey, caramel, and biscuit. Finish is clean and lightly hoppy. Marvelous stuff. troopie (3747) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - SEP 14, 2017
Draught. Dark amber with thin white head. Malty aroma with some caramel. Flavour is sweet malt with enough bitterness to keep it from getting cloying. Long malt finish luttonm (7593) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle in Seattle. Psyched to have them distributed up here now. Clear brown-orange appearance, very nice. Creamy thin head. Honey and bitter caramel malts on nose. Very smooth sip. Nice grain flavors, with a dark caramel note. Touch of honey. Very tasty.

Not a bad Oktoberfest beer, but personally I prefer the ones that have a larger amount of Vienna malt in them for that roasty toasty finish that keeps me coming back for more. dogfish120love (1339) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Pours a murky orange no lacing. The aroma is caramel and biscuit. This is definitely infected, some bugs in here for sure Marheb (6366) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 14, 2016
(Bouteille à Bottlecraft): Un mélange de pétales de rose, de cassonade et de mélasse docile. Une présence modérée de l’aspect épicé ouvre la porte vers une dimension supplémentaire. Superbe. nickd717 (6159) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 13, 2016
Bomber pours clear copper with a well formed one finger white head. Aroma is caramel, nutty, biscuit, and honey. The flavor is nicely balanced, moderate honey and caramel sweetness, mild hop bitterness. Medium bodied, very crisp and drinkable. Excellent offering for the style. The heat is on. Picked a Bonner up while visiting The Hop Grenade in Concord, CA. I’ve had a couple others from HA and damn do they make some fine beers. Dark amber pour with a slight white head. Malty caramel nose. Perfect balance of roasted caramel, just a touch of bitterness and a dry finish with a full mouthfeel. Really good.
