UPDATED: FEB 20, 2019 Pours a clear golden with white head. Light sweet malty aroma and taste, quite clean and while generally lacking in flavor, this is probably what makes it better than other beers in Egypt. Notes: bottles all over Cairo

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2019 500ml bottle at the Marriott in Cairo, Egypt The lager poured a clear gold color with a small head that quickly dissipated. Vey little lacing. The aroma of sweet malts and bread. The lager has a medium body with average carbonation. the finish was clean with no hop bitterness. Somewhat sweet taste. Again this is a refreshing beverage in the Egyptian heat.

Can, best before September 2019, drunk 11/17/18, thanks to Stacey.
Pale golden-straw with a hint of deeper copper than most pale lagers. Fizzy, white head recedes quickly to nothing. Smells waxy with crayon and light DMS. Honey-like oxidation and light mineral with no real clear/bright/good malt character. Certainly no hops.
In the mouth it has an almost caramel-like character akin to caramel flavoring with wax and bready oxidation. Fizzy and watery. Very poor.

500 ml can. Crystal clear yellow. Smells like slight grain. Not much more. Not much in the flavor, light honey maybe watery as hell. Thin and ends on nothing

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2018 Egyptian. Pours almost clear like water with a slight yellow. Not any strong notes at all. Taste is watery lager. What do you expect from a country not known for their beer?

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2018 50cl Can. Gift from a friend. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is grain, sweet. Taste is grain, rice, sweet, cardboard. Medium to light body, average carbonation.

Can (thanks Sten). Pours golden. Aroma is shit (disappears once it gets warmer), grains, some fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, metallic notes, cardboard and dirtiness appears when it gets warmer. Overall: quite bad, but i have had worse.
