UPDATED: MAR 1, 2022 Bottle from Connolly's Wine Merchants. Pours gold with small white head. Aroma of grains, bread, sweetness, hint of lemon. Full bodied by lager standards, taste grainy, a bit doughy with lemon note. Its ok.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2022 Golden with a medium sized foamy white head. Tangy and sweet with a bit of grainiess followed by lemon and grape notes. Long finish. Medium body.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2022 500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Grainy, strawy, minimally musty, pale malty aroma, hints of wet straw, whiffs of horse dung. Taste is minimally strawy and spicy, pale malty, slightly bitter hoppy, minimally mineral. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, foamy, soft carbonation. Clean, balanced, relatively spicy and mineral - decent.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Lecker und rund, aber sehr schaumig. Würzig und doch zurückhaltend. Nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber wohlschmeckend. Eher unauffällig...

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2021 Bottle. Clear pale gold with a righteous white head. Aroma of grains, spice, bread, soap, dough and floral hops. Taste is all that (minus the soap) topped off by a beautiful spiciness. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Soft mouthfeel. Amazing balance and drinkability. I’m quite puzzled I haven’t rated this yet as it’s one of my default choices when I crave a hearty Export.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2021 Bottle from Total Wine Perfectly nice export lager, I guess. Pretty aggressively carobonated, very pretty clear yellow with white head. Smells a bit like the beers my dad drank back in the day, i.e., grain + skunk. A tiny bit sweet / fruity compared to the usual Helles, alcohol fairly prominent for the style and ABV. It's OK.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2021 Flaska från Lidl, Dresden. Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Maltig och söt med toner av citrus och gräs. Torr avslutning.
