Sabor a levadura belga, fruta madura, flores, hierbas, especias, destacando quizá cilantro y albahaca. Amarga prácticamente de inicio. Final amargo y casi picante. Seca.

Golden bronze color with a white head that lasts. Aroma is alcohol, pepper, yeast, light sugar and fruit. Medium bodied, yeast and alcohol dominate, lightly spicy. Not bad.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, white kandij sugar syrup and mild spices. Fizzy mouthfeel, Medium sweet flavour, distinct spicy notes, both from spicy yeast and spicy hops. Also notes of white kandij sugar. Bitter aftertaste.

Pours clear yellow orange with a moderately thick head that laces well. It smells of citrus, bananas, and malt. The is sweet malt up front that goes quickly to ample hops and a dry finish.

Appearance: Pours hazy amber with a massive, very persistent creamy white head, leaving nice lacings. 5/5 Aroma: Spicy hoppiness with refreshing fruit note, mostly ripe apple and citrus, combined with sweet graininess, along with a little grassy notes. 8/10 Taste: Spicy peppery with a sort of dry bitter hoppiness, malt and orange peel. Though it's rather bitter, there's still a nice level of maltness and fruitness to balance it. Finishes moderate bitter, alcoholic and slightly spicy, lingering. 7/10 Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied, watery, moderate carbonated. 4/5 Overall: Classic tripel with no less dryness than Westmalle Tripel. Not complex but wih intense spicy fruity hoppiness, make it rather drinkable. 12/20

DijkBier (723) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2018
Clear golden pour with huge near-white head. Aroma is quite faint, but taste is nice: medium sweet, fruity, syrupy. This is a typically Belgian tripel: nice and old-school, but among them not the worst.

kwik-lime (2195) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2018
Orange pour with nice head that lasts. Pale malt, brown sugar, alcohol, some citrus, a little yeast. Lovely.

Braudog (6979) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 25, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2018 Bottle, caged and corked. Pours with enormous heft, piled high with white, rocky foam riding atop a bright, yet muddy orange substrate. The aroma is sweet and rife with herbal tastiness. Very flavorful, spicy and old school. Textbook. (#6858, 12/25/2017)

Marstonlad (1022) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2017 Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a big frothy head, beautiful appearance. The aroma features ripe fruitiness, sweet pale maltiness and a touch of spiciness; assertive maltiness and yeastiness. Taste is medium sweet, displaying grain, caramel, pear and substantial spiciness. Warming presence of alcohol stays mostly in the sidelines. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, low in carbonation. Decent but lacks the depth that the best tripels have.
