Spritziger, trocken hefig-bananiger Antrunk. Wenig herb, im Mittelteil etwas wässrig werdend, DIe Hefigkeit verschwindet weitestgehend, minimal bitter zum Ende. Netter Start, der leider das Beste am Bier ist, das zu schnell nachlässt. 9/9/8/6/7/7 Mariusz (12966) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - OCT 3, 2016
Pours a hazy orange color. Aroma of malt, grain, yeast, and fruit. Taste is malt, wheat, yeast, and some banana. Pretty good Hefeweizen. MoritzF (10602) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 28, 2009
(swing top bottle) Cloudy, deep amber colour with a big and tanned frothy head. Slightly sweet and moderately sourish wheaty aroma with a tinge of cara-malt, notes of citrus, lime and shades of cloves. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a very light, even a bit flat carbonation. Cara-malty and wheaty taste with a rather restrained fruit-character; sweetish malt-accented finish with light spicy notes. Lacks carbonation/freshness and fruit-character ླ.VIII.09). pivnizub (11590) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 20, 2009
Bügelverschlußflasche (Danke, Stockach!):Light chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized lacy off-white head; mild sweetish fruity-yeasty nose with a grainy touch; relatively sweet flavour, mild, medium bodied; light acidity is almost detectable in the sweet (residual sugars?) and yeasty finish. Not too great.......... Embrouille (2855) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 12, 2009
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. A loud pop sounded when opening the swing top bottle which had a very nice label- showing a jolly scene of an Oktoberfest. Deep murky orange with an average sized light beige head. The aroma is mainly of coriander, banana, cloves, fennel and blueberries. A lot of blueberries in the taste which is nicely balanced. A very spicy Hefeweizen. Interesting. Some carrot sneaking in. Faintly acidic. Deeply refreshing. Not overly sweet. Salty- nice. Complex. Extremely drinkable. Long wonderful finish which is reminiscent of blueberries, home made caramel, salt, carrot and vanilla. Atypical. Without any doubt a top notch Hefeweizen! I really like the salt component- in my opinion there is a great salty touch to this beer. An Oktoberfest as shown on the label does seem fun, especially when drinking the Steinacher Hausbräu Weissbier. I wish it was nice weather in Switzerland.... ;-) Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

bottle, bought in a Getränkemarkt near the brewery. Cloudy orange yellow, large and creamy off-white head. Yeasty, slightly fruity nose. Medium-bodied, intensively malty with wheaty and yeasty flavours. Fruity, but not too much. Hints of cloves and coriander, shy hints of banana and roasted malts with a lovely wheaty character, very slight acid flavours. Low carbonation that feels supersmooth and velvety. I’Äve rarely come across a beer with such a pleasant palate. A very tasty, brilliant Hefeweizen. Bov (14988) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 25, 2009
courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - full cloudy reddish-amber colour with a solid beige foam; aroma of almonds, chewy malts and glue; the taste is moderately sweet and malty, quite bland; finish of red fruits with some residual sugars - unusual and deceptive Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy dark golden coloured. Pleasant notes of pork in the aroma. It could be from the surroundings though, since this little Gasthaus not only offers hausgebrautes Bier, but also Spanferkel aus eigener Schlachtung. Sweet and fruity flavour witha quite dry finish. A nice Weißbier.
