Hazy amber brown with smallish short lasting off white head. Faint lambicky yeasty sour ciderlike, yeah Aarleks got it in one "vowmity", with a hint of marmalade aroma. It reminds me a bit of "Moorlans Hens tooth". Medium bodied. One of the strangest tasting beers Ive had in a while. Lightly sour and floral hoppy bitter low malty sweetness, yeasty vegetable soupy and a light dry stale bitter finish.

Bottled. Cloudy amber, rich but brief head. Sweet and thin with some acidity and paper and a very simplistic malt character. The mouthfeel is hard and the finish has low bitterness. Some toffee flavours is the most positive aspect of ths beer.

Hazy caramel brown with a brief head. Very floral hoppy aroma, palate was very "fizzy" with a bitter sour-fruit finish that I didnt really find appealing. Was this the brewers intention, or did I get a bad bottle?

Started out promising, a sort of dirt brown colour with a white head and a decently hoppy nose. Initial flavour good some citrus hops and a little spice, then started to taste oddly sour. Not sure what happened.

A curious customer this one, but oddly appealing. Poured an amber colour with a brief head. Intriguing nose - Juicy Fruit chewing gum, oranges and some spicey characters. Medium bodied, malty and quenching. Apple notes. A decent thirst quencher. (Bottle)

Bottle: Poured a very cloudy orange with a medium sized rocky off-white head. Sour dried apricots with a kind of vommity aroma in the background that, surprisingly, wasnt that bad. Tart, sour taste, somewhat like fermented orange juice. Quite fruity, with a touch of light crystal malt when slurped. Strange carbonation with occasionally very big bubles. Not bad, and quite unique, but not in any way great.

Very poor head on top of honey coloured body. Floral hop aroma. Light zesty bitterness and then some sweet caramel flavour, thin body and a short floral finish.

This is a pretty good beer, and certainly better than its stablemate. I detected a similarity to Little Creatures in the floral notes of the nose and the pale slightly cloudy colour. Mouthfeel is quite good as is the nice balance of hop and malt. A perfectly acceptable beer for a Sunday afternoon with my boned leg of lamb cooking nicely on the barbie.

This is quite a nice pale ale, not over the top with hops and light on alcohol (4.5%). Nice golden colour but dissapointing aroma. Sound like there has been some batch variance judging by the reviews. Overall though if they can maintain this standard then they will be doing well.

You can taste the fruotness that is apparent in the coonawarra wines. What a region. Great summer ale, very refreshing and smooth. Could do with a little more bite in the after taste. All in all surprisingly nice.
