andrewje41	3.7 Kauai Island Cane Fire Red Crowler from the brewery. Thanks, C! Fun to try this brew that has been on their menu for a dozen years or so I'd guess. A more or less classic and standard amber ale. Copper reddish pour. Bold and flavorful malt flavors up front. More modest nose. Malt bill does a good job mixing cooler caramel with a spicy grain. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a touch of rye here. Easy drinking red. Crowler to myself was no issue. Tuesday, May 9, 2023
andrewje41	3.8 Kauai Island Au'rye IPA Crowler brought back from the brewery. Thanks C! Moderately cloudy copper pour with a cream off white foam. Flavor is quite a battle between subtle sweet caramel and spicy rye notes. Certainly malt forward with a kick, but doesn't quite taste as imperial as they say it is. Pretty smooth overall, with that rye linger that I love. RyePAs need to be more common in my local. Saturday, May 6, 2023
