mmmbeer	3 Twisted X Austin Lager 12 oz can from 6 packer served in a shaker- poured a transparent pale orange yellow color, lively medium carbonation, razor thin whit ring about the vessel for a head. Aroma of hard water and some corn/wheat. Hits the mouth with a light body, hops a straight forward but still works well, malt is detectable, finish kinda becomes water on the backend. Works well and refreshing with 6 hours working in the sun on a hot June day in Texas. Sunday, June 7, 2020

jgb9348	3.7 Twisted X Whoa-Mango Slightly hazy copper and bright orange coloured body with a nice, relatively quickly-fading off-white head, that starts out at about two centimetres tall in height that fades to just a thin layer of ugly-lacing tan specs. Aroma of mangoes, citrus hops, light grapefruit, a mellow dash of biscuity malts with some yeast and alcohol, with a touch of fructose and a relatively mild profile. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong citrus and light tropical fruits at first with a touch of grain and biscuity malts to balance out the relatively strong and higher alpha acid hop profile with a good bitterness and grapefruit funk on the end, all with some noticeable alcohol as well. Aftertaste shows the funk and bitterness from the grapefruits and citrusey hops with a good balance of malts and sweetness with a smooth bitterness (what does that even mean?) with a light herbal funk as well, but shows well and complex for the style. Overall, a nice and enjoyable mango and pure fruit inspired and hopped beer with a lot of bitterness and character, even while being fairly easy to drink! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Selma (The Forum, San Antonio), Texas on 14-October-2019 for US$1,99 sampled a bit more than a month later back here in Washington at my house on 17-November-2019. Definitely a pilsner lite flavor. Grainy and carbonated lager taste with very light bitterness. Somewhat crisp and sharp mouthfeel. Quick, watered down finish.
